This is a pattern I created several months ago. Here is the video tutorial that goes with this written pattern
Materials:
- Orange, cream, white, red and black acrylic yarn. You can use chenille if you prefer (the doll will be bigger if you use this yarn).
- 3.5mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Stuffing
- Darning needle
- 0.25mm black safety eyes
Steps:
Head:
Rnd 1. With cream color. 6sc in magic circle. (6)
Rnd 2. Inc x 6. (12)
Rnd 3. (1sc. Inc) x 6. (18)
Rnd 4. (2sc. Inc) x 6. (24)
Rnd 5. (3sc. Inc) x 6. (30)
Rnd 6-9. 30sc. (30)
Rnd 10. Inc x 6. 9sc. Inc x 6. 9sc. (42)
Rnd 11-14. 42sc. (42)
Rnd 15. (4sc. Dec) x 7. (35)

After rnd 16, you can now place the eyes in. The eyes are placed between rnds 9 and 10. They are about 6 st apart. You can also embroider the nose at this time. Use the black color. The nose is in between the eyes in between rnds 9 and 10. It is 1st wide. The nose is in between rnds 13 and 14. It is 2st wide. The mouth is embroidered with black yarn as well. Place this 4 rnds below the nose. The mouth is 2st wide.
Start stuffing the head now.

Don’t stuff the arms. Sl st the opening closed. Sew the arms onto the body as shown in the video.

Rnd 1. With red color. Surface crochet underneath the head. Count all the way to rnd 18. Surface crochet 14sc. (14)

Rnd 3-5. 28sc. (28)
Sew the arms on first before moving on.
Rnd 6. (6sc. Inc) x 4. (32)

Before continuing the body, make the white part of the belly.

Start stuffing and stuff along the way.
