Make your own Ash Ketchum!

Materials:
1. White, green, red, brown, black, cream, grey, light blue, gold and dark blue yarn.
2. Button eyes (21-22mm).
3. F5 crochet hook.
4. Zipper.
5. Sewing needle and thread.
6. Stuffing.

Head and body:
1. With cream yarn. 6sc in magic circle. [6]
2. 2sc in each st around. [12]
3. (1sc in first st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [18]
4. (1sc in first 2st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [24]
5. (1sc in first 3st. 2sc in next st.)x 6 [30]
6. (1sc in first 4st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [36]
7. (1sc in first 5st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [42]
8. (1sc in first 6st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [48]
9. 1sc in each st around. For 9 rows. [48]
10. (1sc in first st. Sc2tog) <— Do this until you have 9 stitches left. [9]
11. 2sc in each st. [18]
12. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in the first 17st. [17]
13. Change to green yarn. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in each st. For 4 rows. [17]
14. Chainge to brown yarn. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in each st. For 2 rows. [17]
15. Chainge to light blue yarn. 1sc in each st. [17]
16. Sc2tog until the gap is small enough to sew closed.

Legs [Make 2]:
1. With light blue yarn. Pick up 7 stitches in the places you want the legs to be. [7]
2. 2sc in each st. [14]
3. 1sc in each st for 3 rows. [14]
4. Change to grey yarn. 1sc in each st for 2 rows.
5. Sc2tog only in the back loops. For 1 row.
6. Sc2tog until gap is small enough to finish off.
7. F.O.

Arms [Make 2]:
1. With white yarn. Pick up 6 stitches where the arm should be.
2. 2sc in each st. [12]
3. 1sc in each st around. [12]
4. Change to cream yarn. 1sc in each st around. For 2 rows. [12]
5. Change to green yarn. (1sc in first st. 2sc in next st.) X 6 [18]
6. 1sc in each st around [18]
7. Make the fingers. Each finger has about 5-6 stitches each.
8. The thumb has the same number of stitches.

Jacket Part A:
1. With dark blue yarn. Chain 8.
2. 1sc in each chain starting in second one from hook. [7]
3. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in each st. For 8 rows. [7]
4. FO.

Jacket Part B1 and B2:
1. B1 and B2 are exactly the same.
2. With dark blue yarn. Chain 6.
3. 1sc in each chain starting in second one from hook. [5]
4. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in each st. For 5 rows. [5]
5. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in first 2st. [2]
6. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in each st. For 4 rows. [2]
7. FO.

Jacket collar:
1. With white yarn. Chain 16.
2. 1sc in each chain starting in second one from hook. [15]
3. (1sc in first 2st. 2sc in next st.) X 5 [20]
4. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in each st. [20]
5. FO.

Jacket sleeves [Make 2]:
1. With white yarn. Once everything has been sewed together, pick up 14 stitches where the sleeves should be.
2. 1sc in each st around. Only in the front loops. [14]
3. 1sc in each st around. [14]
4. FO.

Hat:
1. With white yarn. 6sc in magic circle. [6]
2. 2sc in each st around. [12]
3. (1sc in first st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [18]
4. (1sc in first 2st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [24]
5. (1sc in first 3st. 2sc in next st.)x 6 [30]
6. (1sc in first 4st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [36]
7. (1sc in first 5st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [42]
8. (1sc in first 6st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [48]
9. (1sc in first 7st. 2sc in next st.) x 6 [54]
10. 1sc in each st around. For 7 rows. [54]
11. FO.

Red part of hat:
1. With red yarn. Chain 2.
2. 3sc in second chain from hook. [3]
3. Chain 1. Turn work. 2sc in each st. [6]
4. Chain 1. Turn work. (1sc in first st. 2st in next st.) X 3 [9]
5. Chain 1. Turn work. (1sc in first 2st. 2st in next st.) X 3 [12]
6. Chain 1. Turn work. (1sc in first 3st. 2st in next st.) X 3 [15]
7. Chain 1. Turn work. (1sc in first 4st. 2st in next st.) X 3 [18]
8. FO. Sew onto hat.

Hat lid:
1. With red yarn. For the lid of the hat, we are going to be working in the white stitches only.
2. There are approximately 30 stitches in the front (this is, of course, after you have sewn the red part onto the hat.)
3. Start crocheting only in the white stitches. 1sc in each of the 30 white stitches. Do this in the back loops only so that the hat lid will pop out to the front of the hat. [30]
4. (1sc in first st. 3sc in next st.) X 10 [50]
5. FO.
6. With red yarn. 1sc in each of the 32 stitches in the middle of the front part of the hat. Make sure that this is as centered as possible. [32]
7. FO.
8. With red yarn. 1sc in each of the 24 stitches in the middle of the front part of the hat. [22]
9. FO.
10. With red yarn. Only crochet in the middle 24 stitches. (1sc in first 5st. 2sc in next st.) X 4 [28]
11. FO.
12. Embroider the green pattern on the front of the hat.
