L Sackboy

WHAT YOU NEED:

1. Thin white yarn

2. Thin black yarn

3. Size E and F hooks

4. Darning needle

5. Medium worsted black yarn

6. Medium worsted white yarn

7. Medium worsted blue yarn

8. Medium worsted cream colored yarn

9. Buttons for eyes

10. Scissors

**With cream colored yarn**

1. Create a ring as shown in this video: Magic Ring

2. Then create 6 sc in the ring. Then make a slip stitch with the very first stitch you created.

3. 2sc in each sc. [12]

4. 1sc, 2sc in sc (repeat until marker)[18]

5. 2sc, 2sc in sc (repeat until marker)[24]

6. 3sc, 2sc in sc (repeat until marker)[30]

7. 4sc, 2sc in sc (repeat until marker)[36]

8. 5sc, 2sc in sc (repeat until marker)[42]

9. 6sc, 2sc in sc (repeat until marker)[48]

10. 1sc only in back loops (Do this for two rows)[48]

11. 1sc in each sc (Do this for 10 rows)[48]

12. 1sc in the next 2sc; Crochet two sc together (repeat for 5+ rows or until the hole is small enough; it cant be too small or the head will bobble too much.)[11]

13. Stuff the head.

**With white yarn**

14. 2sc in each sc. (For one row)[22]

15. 1sc in each sc; when you reach the marker, chain 1 and turn your work around. (Do this for 13 rows)[22]

16. Sew the zipper on.

17. Continue crocheting to finish the body. Chain two and then slip stitch on to the next stitch to bridge the gap. Finish it off.

**With blue yarn**

18. Crochet two sc together until the hole is closed. If there is still a gap left, sew it closed.

19. Pick up 7 stitches in the places you want the feet to be.

20. 2sc in each sc. [14]

21. 1sc in each sc for 7 rows [14]

**With cream colored yarn**

22. 1sc in each sc. [14]

23. For this row, crochet in back loops only. Crochet two stitches together. Do this for both legs.

24. Then crochet 2 sc together to decrease the size of the hole so you can close it up.

**With white yarn**

25. Pick up 6 stitches where the arm should be.

26. 2sc in each sc all the way around. [12]

27. Determine where the top part of the arm hole is from the bottom. Crochet in the back loops for the top 6 stitches. Crochet in the front loops for the bottom 6 stitches. (Repeat for two rows)

28. 1sc in each sc. (For 3 rows)

29. 1sc then 2sc in each sc.

**With cream colored yarn**

30. 1sc in each sc

31. Then make the fingers. Tutorial video for that is here: How to make fingers

32. Put in the eyes. Look below for the pattern.

33. Hide all the strings. You can do this by inserting them all into the body of the sackboy.

EYES:

**With black yarn**

1. Create a slip knot and chain two.

2. Create 4 sc in the second sc from the hook.

3. 2sc in each sc. [8]

**With white yarn**

4. 1sc, 2sc in next sc. Repeat until you reach marker.

5. 1sc in the next 2 stitches, 2sc in next sc. Repeat until you reach marker.

**With black yarn**

6. Create a slip knot and chain 10.

7. Sew onto doll.

**With gray yarn**

8. Create a slip knot and chain 14.

9. Sew onto doll.

10. Put in the button eyes and secure them.

  • Freaking awesome!!!!!!! i made a blue/white luma yesterday. but i didn’t fill it so i put a balloon in it instead! I loved making the Lume. you got me back into Crocheting!! i’m gonna make this one next!
