  2. Chain 12. FO.
Sew them above where the top lid is. Try to connect the ends of the eyebrows to the top lid so it looks like the images you see online of baby Yoda.

For the blacks of the eye, you could embroider white specks into them so that they don’t look so flat. I did 2 specks per eye. I made them mirror each other.

Ears (Make 4)

  1. With green yarn.
  2. Chain 11.
  3. 1sc in second chain from the hook. 1sc in the rest of the chains. (10)

Wrinkles on forehead

  1. Add as many as you would like. I only made 1.

  1. With green yarn.
  2. Chain 5. FO.
Sew this around the mouth area. Start this where the nose is.

Mouth

  1. Chain 6.
  2. Sl st in first chain. 1sc in next 3 chains. Sl st in last chain. FO.
Sew this where the mouth should be.

Arms

  1. Pick up 7 stitches where the arms should be. (7)
  2. 2sc in each st. (14)
  3. (1sc in next 6st. 2sc.) x 2. (16)
  4. 1sc in each st. For 13 rows. (16)
Divide the arm into 2 sections for the fingers. You will be making 2, so each finger has 8 stitches. Each finger has about 5 rows of single crochets. After you create the fingers, you will make the thumb that will also be 8 stitches. He should have 3 fingers per hand.

Feet (Optional)

  1. With green yarn.
  2. Pick up 7 stitches where the toes should be. You will be creating 3 per foot.
  3. Each toe has 2 rows. Sc2tog until the gap is small enough to sew closed. You do not need to stuff the toes.
If you would rather not pick up stitches, you can make the toes separately by doing this:
    a. 7sc in magic circle. (7)
    b. 1sc in each st. (7)
    c. FO. Then sew the toe onto the foot.

  16. Chain 1. Turn. 1sc in each st. For 3 rows. FO
Sew them onto the top of the back of the coat.
For the front part of the coat (Make 2):
  17. Chain 9.
  18. 1sc in each st starting in the second chain from the hook. (8)
  19. Chain 1. Turn. 1sc in each st. For 9 rows. (8)
  20. Chain 1. Turn. 1sc in next 7st. 2sc. (9)
  21. Chain 1. Turn. 2sc. 1sc in each st. (10)

    For the collar:
  23. Chain 25.
  24. 1sc in each chain starting in second chain from hook. (24)
  25. Chain 3. Then do the puff stitch in each stitch. For 4 rows.
  26. FO. Sew this onto the top of the coat to connect the back and front parts of the coat.

Puff stitch.

Start with doing a hdc but do not yarn over and pull it through all the loops. So at this point you should still have 3 loops on your hook. Yarn over and insert your hook into the same stitch. Yarn over pull through. Then yarn over and insert your hook into the stitch again. Yarn over and pull through. You should now have 7 loops on your hook. Yarn over one last time and pull through all 7 loops.

Sleeves on coat

  1. With brown yarn.
  2. Pick up 28 stitches where the sleeves should be.
  3. 1sc in each st. For 14 rows. (28)
  4. If you would rather sew on the sleeves, chain 29.
Make a rectangle shape and sew the sleeve together.
  5. Do a puff stitch in the first st and every other stitch after.
  6. For the second row of puff stitches, do a puff stitch in every stitch.
  7. FO. Fold the sleeve at where you started the puff stitches.

Cup

  1. With dark brown yarn.
  2. 6sc in magic circle. (6)
  3. 2sc in each st. (12)

  6. (1sc in next 3st. 2sc.) x 6. (30)
  7. (1sc in next 4st. 2sc.) x 6. (36)
  8. 1sc in each st only in the back loops. (36)
  9. 1sc in each st. For 8 rows. (36)
  10. FO.
  11. If you would like to reinforce the walls and make them thicker, you could make an inner part. 6sc in magic circle using size H hook. (6)
  12. 2sc in each st. (12)
  13. (1sc. 2sc.) x 6. (18)
  14. (1sc in the next 2st. 2sc) x 6. (24)
  15. (1sc in the next 3st. 2sc) x 6. (30)
  16. 1sc in each st only in the back loops. (30)
  17. 1sc in each st. For 7 rows.
  18. FO.
  19. Put the smaller cup into the bigger cup. Sew together. First sew the bottom together then do a blanket stitch at the top to join. If you would like, also sew some of the sides together so it doesn’t come apart at the sides.

Bassinet (base)

  1. With grey yarn. Use the J size hook. I used 2 strands of grey to make this thicker. It is optional to do so but this method will strengthen the walls of the bassinet.

  8. (1sc in next 5st. 2sc.) x 6. (42)
  9. (1sc in next 6st. 2sc.) x 6. (48)
  10. (1sc in next 7st. 2sc.) x 6. (54)
  11. (1sc in next 8st. 2sc.) x 6. (60)
  12. (1sc in next 9st. 2sc.) x 6. (66)
  13. (1sc in next 10st. 2sc.) x 6. (72)
  14. (1sc in next 11st. 2sc.) x 6. (78)
  15. (1sc in next 12st. 2sc.) x 6. (84)
  16. 1dc in each st. For 7 rows. (84)
  17. FO.

Bassinet (lid)

  1. Do the same as you did for the base.
  2. Do this for 7 rows.
