- Look to see where the top of the foot should be. We are only going to increase in this part of the foot from now own. Make sure to add a marker. I added a marker to make sure that I am only increasing in the top 9 stitches. This will create the foot for the bunny. So for the 9 stitches I did 2sc in each of those stitches. Now I have 27 stitches.

- Sew both ears onto head.
Inner Parts of Ears (Make 2):
- Trace out the ears on white or cream colored felt.
- When you cut them out, cut a little bit inside the lines so that they are not too big when you sew them onto the ears.
- You have to be able to see the pinks of the ears when you sew them on.
- Use brown floss or embroidery thread to sew them on. Remember to use a sewing needle instead of a darning needle because the darning needle isn’t going to be sharp enough to sew through felt.
- You want to do some sort of blanket stitch to sew the felt onto the ears.
- If you don’t want to do a blanket stitch then you can do a hemming stitch.
- I did the hemming stitch and went around the perimeter with the brown thread.
Bow on Head:
- With dark pink yarn. Chain 27.
- F.O.
- Form a bow and attach it to the head with yarn.
- Sew this between the ears using a darning needle.
Skirt:
- With dark pink yarn. Chain 24.
- Sc in all chains starting from second chain from hook. [23]
- Slip stitch with second chain from hook. (Skip a chain, 5dc in next chain, skip a stitch, slip stitch in next chain) Repeat until the end.
- F.O.
- At this point you should have 6 shells.
- Sew this around the bunny’s waist.
- Depending on how much you stuffed the dolls, her waist could be larger or smaller than mine. Adjust accordingly.
For her eyes I used the same type of eyes as I did for the sackboy dolls I made. You could use a smaller size since her head a bit smaller. Also, for her nose I embroidered a triangular shape on her nose. You can also use felt to glue the nose on. Since this is going to be a baby’s doll, I did not glue anything on it.
Here’s the finished doll! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. This can be a wonderful gift to a child for easter ^_^ Let me know what you guys think in the comments below.
