Link Sackboy

HEAD:

With cream colored yarn.

1. Create a ring as shown in this video.

2. Then create 6 sc in the ring. Then make a slip stitch with the very first stitch you created.

2. 1sc, 2sc in sc (repeat until marker)[18]

3. 2sc, 2sc in sc (repeat until marker)[24]

11. Stuff the head.

12. Add yellow yarn for hair.

BODY:

With cream colored yarn.

13. 2sc in each sc for all stitches except the last one. 1sc in the last stitch. We are doing this to make the body a little bit smaller. We still have to add Link’s green shirt. Making the body one stitch smaller will prevent the body from looking too bulky.[21]

14. 1sc in each sc.

15. Change yarn to white

With white yarn.

16. [Chain 1 and turn. 1sc in each sc.] Do this for 12 rows. Always chain 1 at the end of the row and turn your work.

17. Sew the zipper on.

18. Then chain two where you left off in step 16. Then create a slip stitch with the next stitch to bridge the gap.

19. 2sc tog in the back loops. Do this for one row only.

20. 2sc tog until you close the hole. Sew it closed if there is still an opening when you are done.

LEGS:

With white yarn.

34. 1sc in each sc.

35. Finish off

36. Put around the body and sew closed. You might want to sew it up to the zipper or cover up the zipper. It’s really your preference. I decided to cover up the zipper because I accidentally picked a dark blue zipper. I had purchased the zipper before picking the yarn color so they ended up to be two different colors. The best choice would be to choose a white zipper because his inner shirt is white.

37. Also, you can sew the collar down to prevent it from flying up. This will also even out both collars so that they look the same on both sides.
