HEAD:
1a. Start with cream yarn. Create a ring as shown in this video.
1b. Then create 6 sc in the ring. Then make a slip stitch with the very first stitch you created. [6]
1c. 2sc in each st around. [12]
2. (1sc in first st. 2sc in next st.) 6X [18]
3. (1sc in first 2st. 2sc in next st.) 6X [24]
4. (1sc in first 3st. 2sc in next st.) 6X [30]
5. (1sc in first 4st. 2sc in next st.) 6X[36]
6. (1sc in first 5st. 2sc in next st.) 6X[42]
7. (1sc in first 6st. 2sc in next st.) 6X[48]
8. 1sc in each st around. Only in back loops (Do this for two rows)[48]
9. 1sc in each st around. Do this for 10 rows. [48]
10. (1sc in the first st, Sc2tog.) Do this until you end up with 11 stitches. [11]
BODY:
11. Change to red yarn. 2sc in each sc. [22]
12. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in the first 5 st. Change to blue yarn. 1sc in next 11 st. Change to red yarn. 1sc in next 5 st. [21]
13. Change to blue yarn. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in the first 2 st. Change to red yarn. 1sc in next 3 st. Change to blue yarn. 1sc in next 11 st. Change to red yarn. 1sc in next 3 st. Change to blue yarn. 1sc in last 2 st. [21]
14. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in each st. For 8 rows. [21]
15. Sew the zipper.
16. Sc2tog only in the back loops.
17. Sc2tog until gap is small enough to sew closed.
Note: There is no number 18-19. In my update of this pattern, those steps were not needed.
ARMS:

21. 2sc in each sc around. [12]
22. 1sc in each st around. Do this for 3 rows. [12]
23. Change to white yarn. (1sc in first st, 2sc in next st.) 6X [18]
24. 1sc in each st around. [18]
25. Stuff before your make the fingers. Create five fingers. If you need help please view my video on creating fingers here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sm9xuh2Onh8 The fingers should be about 4-5 stitches each and 3-4 rows in length.
BANDS FOR ARMS:
26. With white yarn. Chain 4.
27. Make as many rows as what will fit. This is meant to go around the arms.
28. Then fold it in half and sew it around the arm.
JUMPER STRAPS:
29. With blue yarn. Chain 3.
30. Create as many rows as you would like. Sew it onto doll.
JUMPER BUTTONS:
31. With yellow yarn. 4sc in circle. Finish off and sew onto doll.
LEGS:
32. With blue yarn. Pick up 7 stitches like you did for the arms. [7]
33. 2sc in each st around. [14]
34. 1sc in each st. For 5 rows. [14]
35. Change to brown yarn. 1sc in each st around. For 2 rows. [14]
36. Sc2tog around. Only in the back loops.
37. Stuff the foot.
38. Sc2tog until gap is closed.
NOSE:
39. 6sc in circle. [6]
30. 2sc in each st around. [12]
31. (1sc in first st. 2sc in st.) 6X [18]
32. 1sc in each sc. For 3 rows.
33. 1sc in the next 2 st. Sc2tog. [12]
34. 1sc in each st around. For 2 rows. [12]
35. FO. Stuff and sew on his face.
MUSTACHE:
36. With dark brown yarn. Chain 24.
37. Starting in second chain from hook. (1sc in ch. 3 dc in ch. 1sc. Skip two chains.) Repeat until end. You should end up with 1sc for the last chain.

53. 2sc in the first 19 st. Place a marker in the first and last st you create in this row. Create a slip stitch with 20th st. FO. [38 stitches for the lid of the hat.]
54. Create a slip knot and insert it through the stitch right after your marker.
55. 1sc in the next 35 stitches. Place a marker in the first and last st you create in this row. Create a slip stitch with the next stitch and then FO.
56. Create a slip knot and insert it through the 3rd stitch from the marker (counting the stitch with the marker as number 1). 1sc in each of the next 29 stitches. Place markers in the first and last stitch you create in this row. Create a slip knot with the next stitch and finish off.
57. Create a slip knot and insert it through 4th stitch from the marker. 1sc in each of the next 21 stitches. Create a slip knot with the next stitch and finish off.
SIGN ON HAT:
58. With white yarn. 6sc in circle. [6]
59. 2sc in first st, 2dc in second st, 2sc in the next 2 st, 2dc in next st, 2sc in sixth st. [12]
60. 1sc in the next 2 st, 2dc in the next 2 st, 1sc in the next 4 stitches, 2dc in next 2 st, 1sc in last 2 st. If your work curls, just stretch it out to straighten it. Once you sew it onto the hat it will be fine. [16]
61. FO. Embroider the M on his hat with red yarn. Then sew it onto the hat.
NOTE: Remember to stuff the hat before sewing it on so that it does not look too flat on his head.
HAIR:
62. Chain 25. (This part depends on how large the head is. If you need to lessen or add more chains.)
63. (Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc in each st.) For 11 rows. [19]
64. Chain 1. Turn work. 1sc. Then [1 picot, 1sc in next 2 stitches]<– Do this until the end of the row.
65. Finish off and sew onto the back of the head.
EARS:
66. Chain 2.
67. 3sc in second chain from hook. [3]
68. Chain 1. Turn work. 2sc in each st. [6]
69. Chain 1. Turn work. (1sc in first st. 2sc in st) 3X [9]
70. Chain 1. Turn work. (1sc in first 2 st. 2sc in st) 3X [12]
SIDEBURNS:
71. Chain 5.
72. 1sc in each sc. For 4 rows.
73. Do picots just like for the back part of the hair.
74. Sew on all the pieces as shown in the video.
Have a question about the body.
With the body on #13 it says ch1 but its not mentioned again, do I keep chain 1’ing and turning down the body for a zipper space? And how many rows for the body? On #16 it says continue for 5 stitches, I figured you meant rows so that’s what I did.
