Review: Frozen

So when I first saw this movie I had no idea it was already a social phenomenon. I came into it without even reading the synopsis. Like many who have seen this movie, I was impressed. I really like it because it was sorta wholesome and it included all the ingredients of a typical Disney princess movie. I think that’s what’s charming about movies like these. But you know, sometimes same old, same old, really does get old. Don’t get me wrong….I still enjoy watching this movie but if you are looking for originality, this movie doesn’t have it. So the reason why it became really popular is a mystery for me. Maybe it’s because it’s about princesses who are sisters or the fact that it kinda promoted embracing what’s different about ourselves. Whatever it is, it made the movie beloved by many tweens and children out there. Just know that if you work with children, you’ll be hearing the “Let it Go” song for a while. Your children will be singing this and maybe even your adult friends.

Audience: PG
Fairy Tale factor: 7
Art: 9
Story: 6
Direction: 8
Would I recommend: Yes

*Note: Based on a scale from 1 to 10. 1 being the worst and 10 being the best you could get in a category.
